Emotions press me sore.
Loosen these chains. “Oh,
Please!” I cry out softly.
Mend my brokenness, and
End my hopeless thoughts.
Overcome this vile and sinful
Heart, for it hurts itself and others.
Lord, help me be yours,
Only and faithfully yours.
Remove from me fears and
Doubts that pull me from you.
